Double bill of action dramas starring Tom Cruise as Pete 'Maverick' Mitchell. In 'Top Gun' (1986) Maverick is a young fighter pilot enrolled at Naval college, training with the most gifted flyers of his generation and competing for the prestigious Top Gun award. Maverick soon establishes himself as one of the best in his class, but his insistence on doing things his own way soon brings him into conflict with his superiors and his main student rival Tom 'Iceman' Kazansky (Val Kilmer).

Maverick must confront his past and his fears as a mission that may demand the ultimate sacrifice from those involved draws near.
