Johnny Pepper

The Plot Heard Round the World Johnny Pepper 2. Ausgabe

Opening to reveal that America has taken a strong turn to the right, the saga follows the adventures of a man named Rip Pizzard in the nearest of futures.

Rip is a mystic whose human doctrine (based on Buddhist principles of enlightenment) opposes the rigid dogma of the conservative hierarchy. The text merges traditional settings and exotic locales with tongue-in-cheek themes to satirize society's views on religion, multiculturalism, liberal versus conservative conflicts, frivolous metaphysics and politics.

The story is framed in wry sentiments, expressive dialogue and provocative concepts.
