Imagine a world with no cars, no heat or air conditioning, no electricity, no computers, no social media, no television, no radio, and no cell phones. The only transportation remaining are shoe leather express, bicycles, and horses. Not far off in the future, two of the world's superpowers trade jabs between Intelligence organizations, which spawns the launch of an EMP and sending the world into the eighteen hundreds with twenty-first-century knowledge. In a world with no power, a new partly built subdivision falls prey to a series of murders at the onset of the EMP outage. Michael Montgomery and his family help sleuth through the heinous crimes while trying to determine who the killers are and bring them to justice.
