The book presents the flexibility thatECC provides in the choice of parameters andalgorithms at different hierarchies for efficientimplementations on constrained platforms like 8-bitmicro-processors. Architectural enhancements withsoftware/hardware co-design including instruction setextensions were investigated for low-level finitefield arithmetic used in ECC.
