This work was carried out with the objective of creating a computer application for the management of processes in the Mixed Educational Prosecutorial Unit "Dr. José Viliulfo Cedeño Sánchez" - located in the Jipijapa canton. The main problems affecting process management at the institution were investigated. They indicated that the existing problems were process management, which caused several problems for administrative staff. Therefore, the idea arose to design a computer application to avoid wasting time with different forms in the computer system. It was important to implement the application system with the installation of software in each computer of the administrative staff because it allowed for efficient management of administrative processes. The scientific methods used in the research were: Historical-logical, analysis-synthesis, hypothetical-deductive, bibliographic, analytical and documentary. The results obtained show that the application optimized the documental management, by keeping a strategic control in the administration of documents.
