Square Holes William Driscoll 1. Ausgabe

Drawn from a cross-section of William Driscoll?s middle period, a poetry marked by short staccato lines and linear stanzas, the poems collected in Square Holes highlight the poet?s lifelong search for new and varied structures and forms designed to heighten the unique rhythms and music of his poetry. With disparate themes ranging from social satire, to the agony of loss, to the search for spiritual meaning, these pages serve as square holes for poems that fail to fit into the more rounded concaves of his earlier or latter styles.
