His books include "A Clavin Reader: Reflections on Living" and "The Wisdom of the Psalms: Selections and Expositions Based on Commentary by John Calvin". Torrance (1913 2007) occupied the chair of Christian dogmatics at the University of Edinburgh for twenty-seven years.
