A Peep into the Conditions of Isolation of Mr. Nobody

Psychological novel tracing the final stages of defeat and ultimate spiritual triumph of man. A married man falls in love with a married woman at the workplace. He has no previous experience in "cheating" and is overwhelmed by his newfound joy and energy for life. When he is suspected by the woman's husband of having a romantic interest in her, he cowardly denies this and in an effort to avoid his disgrace in the eyes of society, he brings about the woman's ruin. When she subsequently commits suicide, he discovers too late, that he has destroyed the woman he loves. Tormented by guilt and grief, he finds himself deep in solitary contemplation as he spends a turbulent two days in the lonely precincts of a little house perched upon a cliff with the vast uncertain Caribbean sea as a backdrop to the drama unfolding in his troubled mind. He is in the centre of profound soul searching which ultimately changes his destiny in a dramatic and unforeseen way.
