Common Ashes

A killer has come to the sleepy town of Ashton, Tennessee. Sheriff Charlie Sumner and his Chief Deputy Josh Whittaker are smart, savvy and capable, but their time in a quiet little town has not prepared them for the brutal violence that takes place on the town common. The men find their investigation of the gruesome murder further complicated by the arrival of a California psychic with a link to the teenage victim and an out of town Texas writer with roots in Tennessee. Unruly high schoolers, a young girl with a secret and unwelcome budding romances all serve to further confuse the Sheriff and Chief Deputy as they delve into an already convoluted case.
