"Devotion" is a love story in the lineage of Delta of Venus and Song of Songs, the second book of poems by North Carolina songwriter and poet Jonathan Byrd. One hundred poems, written in order over a year of a love affair, explore the edges of love - unfettered, emotional, imaginative, inviting, sensual, and provocative. "Devotion" also features the author's hyperreal botanical photographs, modern analogs to Georgia O'Keeffe's flower studies.
