In orthodontic diagnosis and treatment planning, a cephalometric radiograph is an essential tool to relate patients with different malocclusions to their associated norms. The treatment goal for any patient that requires combined orthodontic treatment and orthognathic surgery are determined systematically through cephalometrics.
