Rufus Kim

Robert Craig was once a promising special forces officer, but when he discharged because of a wound, he had trouble adapting to civilian life. The former army captain quickly fell in with the wrong kind of people and got sucked into the life of a con man. Not long after that, Craig and his partner were arrested and surprisingly set free. He even enjoys life as a cop on the DC's Capitol Police force, but there are of course strings attached. The man who saved Craig's hide and erased his record is back to collect, and Craig finds himself sucked into a top-secret military unit. There Craig figures out that redemption comes with a hefty price tag as most of his team is wiped early on in his mission. Now he must lead a ragtag group of agents, and guerrillas in the jungles of Pacific Island against a madman known as Rufus Kim. Craig struggles to hold his team and confront his past as he faces a superior enemy. As the island gives up its secrets, it becomes apparent that if the team fails its mission, the consequences will forever shape human history.
