An old GMC box truck raced across the desert Along the New Mexico border at night with its lights off. The engine was running hot, and the cargo hold was boiling. Wendy and a man named George watched the truck as it made its way from Mexico to the United States. She looked through an infrared camera seeing the engine, driver, and passenger with six to nine people in the box. Wendy wages war her way against the dealers and smugglers along the Mexican American border. Her past with the serial killer David Warren and a young woman named Alice made her into a killer. As Wendy contemplates her actions and future, another team moves in using terrorist tactics that could help or bring about a violent end for Wendy and her family. Wendy's War offers a different view of the Dealing Justice stories spanning from the beginning of the ranch after the fall of David.
