"The Anatomical Intimacy of the Heart" is text-art hybrid meditating on the physical phenomenon which occurs when a sensual/spiritual connection exists between men. The artwork is akin to 52 Valentines representing the 52 weeks in a year; all incorporate an anatomically correct red ink drawing of a heart and, within the chambers, an embracing male couple. This exploration of intimacy is as deeply reflected in the text framed vertically on either side by two strips of red yarn. These strings represent the Charlotte Bronte "Jane Eyre" text which reads as follows: ""I have a strange feeling with regard to you. As if I had a string somewhere under my left ribs, tightly knotted to a similar string in you. And if you were to leave I'm afraid that cord of communion would snap.
