Come What May: Remembering Ruth
Rayna Gausnell
Born in the Roaring 20s, Ruth Morgan came of age during the depression era and World War II. During the war she served 1000 hours in the Aircraft Warning System and then joined the Women's Army Corps.
Her father provided for his large family by farming, ranching, logging and running a school bus business, while her mother worked hard to keep her family happy and well-cared for. Ruth and her 10 siblings had lots of fun with each other as well as with neighbor kids. Stories of her life from her own writings, news articles and family stories tell of happy family times, struggles to make a living, military service, sad times and her home in her last years.
