Epic drama recounting the First World War battle that became a byword for the carnage of the times. Written by and starring Paul Gross, the film follows the fortunes of wounded sergeant Michael Dunne (Gross), recovering at a hospital in Canada. After striking up a relationship with nurse Sarah Mann (Caroline Dhavernas), Dunne decides to return to active duty in France in order to shepherd Sarah's younger brother David (Joe Dinicol) through the war.
As the three arrive in France to take up their positions, the third battle of Ypres, otherwise known as Passchendaele, is about to begin...
