The Kronos Quartet plays the sound of the universe:erry Riley's Sun Rings in the first complete recording. Unlikley that a NASA reports to the agent of a classical string quartet. Especially when it's about a creative musical proposa. But that's what happened around the year 2000: the 25th anniversary of the launch of the Voyager spacecraft. The NASA Arts program had created the idea of the "space sounds" sent from the probe back to Earth to do a musical work.
