Probably the best-known audiophile recording of church music, "Cantate Domino", is available for the first time as a 1-step pressing in an exclusive set consisting of a 33-1/3 LP and a 45 double LP. The limited first release in a high-quality jewellery box is accompanied by a 16-page booklet and certificate.

There is hardly an audiophile classical music listener who does not own one of the various versions of this legendary recording of the concerts at the Oscarskyrhan in Stockholm. Recorded on a Revox A-77 tape machine with only two microphones, the 1976 recordings offer the highest degree of spatial information and naturalness.

It was Winston Ma who revealed the secret of the choir's size. He heard the story of sound engineer Bertil Alving, who returned to Oscar Church four days after the recording because he was unhappy with it. Equipped with his recording machine and speakers set up in the gallery, he listened to the choir over and over again, adjusting the sound with his machines until he was satisfied with the result. When Ma then counted the number of singers in the choir, which critics had put at between 250 and 400, he came up with the astonishing figure of 38, plus the organist, choirmaster and soloist.
