After years spent performing in Miami and New York, Giberson returned to his native Portland, OR and formed his new trio. Their debut recording Mirador, features 8 original pieces reflecting on his travels in Europe, and is an intimate session named by the Sacramento Twirlie Jazz Awards as one of the top 5 piano CDs of 2001 along with Keith Jarrett, Brad Meldau, John Hicks & Gonzalo Rubacaba.
