Trio East
With deep rhythmic and harmonic interplay, Trio East's trumpet, bass and drum grouping becomes so much more than it's parts as they explore a group aesthetic built over 5 years of working together. With five originals and tunes by Ellington and Coltrane, Clay Jenkins, Jeff Campbell and Rich Thompson they have crafted a creative, uplifting and spontaneous recording. "This date is a refreshing and challenging endeavor - check it out, you will not be disappointed!" - All About Jazz.
