Originally devised by Jack Lancaster and Robin Lumley, this imaginative adaption of Peter And The Wolf story was originally conceived as an animated film but soon evolved into a rock album featuring some of the most acclaimed musicians of the era. Joining Lancaster and Lumley were Viv Stanshall (assuming the role of narrator) and musicians such as a Manfred Mann, Gary Brooker, Chris Spedding, Gary Moore, Stephane Grappelli, Brian Eno, Keith Tippett, Jon Hiseman, Bill Bruford, Phil Collins, Cozy Powell, Alvin Lee and Julie Tippett.
