Story One: Atypical FamilyThe adoption of an Asian boy and a White girl would not have turned too many heads in the new neighborhood... if the couple that had adopted them were not Black. The Power family with their two biological Children: Maxine and William, and their two adopted Children Alexander and Alexandra, had just moved in. Microaggressions, against their Asian and Black skinned sons, and against their daughters because of their sex, would not be tolerated, not just because they as parents stepped in, but because these four children could handle it themselves. Story Two: The Carmen Adler Detective Agency2. Mary, Stacy, and Jenny consider themselves sisters. These detectives try to convict La Criq and La Craq for domestic attacks of vigilante justice. The problem is that La Criq and La Craq are very smart, very wealthy, and again very smart. Their convictions barely hold them for any length of time. In this cat-a-mouse game will the detectives put them away, or will they be stuck in a proverbial mouse trap?Story Three: Three Queens3. Debra Jenkins is a peacemaker who has been teleported to the realm of the Three Queens. Miss Wealthy, Miss Goneham, and Miss Take-A-Breather need her to find the underlying person that is planning to start war between all realms. But what if it is not a person Debra is up against, but something more sinister?
