Desert Terror

Rachel Chauvenski is a twenty-six year old vampire with a dream. She wants to be a famous world anchor person. To accomplish that dream she has to make a name for herself. She finally gets her big break when she's sent to cover a war in Afghanistan. To her dismay, her meddlesome grandfather hires a bodyguard to accompany her. The last thing Rachel wants is a babysitter. She's afraid she won't be taken seriously as a journalist, but to keep the peace with her family she concedes. David Townsend, her protector, proves to be a thorn in her side immediately. Rachel can't stand his bossy attitude, yet there's something about the devilishly handsome human that makes her butter melt. It's a push and pull between hate and attraction for Rachel and David until they are captured by ISIS and they only have each other to count on to stay alive.
