Samuel Phebus was an ordinary young man living in the City of Ottawa, Ontario, until Destiny came calling. When his Law School application is rejected, Samuel's world is turned upside down. The life of a Black man in Canada is seldom easy. Samuel's ex-girlfriend Jannah Diallo has gone back to Africa to marry someone else. Samuel's other lover, closeted bisexual Jamaican Rasta Jerrod Whitman returned to the Caribbean. Samuel wasn't exactly doing great, professionally or personally, but none of that matters when the Apocalypse comes calling. The Angels descend from the Heavens and lay waste to the major cities of the world. After losing the only home he's ever known, Samuel wanders what's left of the world in the aftermath of the Apocalypse. Civilization has ended, and Humanity faces a grim battle for survival. Something must be done about the supposedly Angelic beings out to destroy Mankind.
