If: How Secure is Eternal Security?
William F Hill
Publisher Marketing: There are two extremely dangerous lies being taught that are bringing massive defections to true and sensible Christian living. One of the lies is Unconditional Eternal Security, or Once Saved Always Saved (OSAS). This false doctrine will be responsible for multitudes spending eternity in the Lake of Fire. The other lie that already has, and will continue to cause millions to spend eternity in Hell, or the Lake of Fire, is the Theory of Evolution. This theory, like OSAS encourages a person to believe they will not have to pay the consequences for their life, or behavior. One (OSAS) says that it is not an eternity issue, no matter how sinfully we live, (if we have ever had even a moment of salvation) because the Grace of God has already taken care of every past, present, and future sin. The other (evolution) says there is no creator, therefore we do not have to be accountable to a "higher power" for the way we live. The OSAS teachers would have us believe that God has Christian Drunkards, Christian Adulterers, Christian Homosexuals, Christian Murderers, etc. They teach that no amount of sin can cause a believer to backslide, and miss Heaven. The Bible counts a Believer who lives in sin as a Sinner who needs to be saved. " [19] Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; [20] Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins." James 5:19-20 This book deals with the false doctrine of Unconditional Eternal Security. May it challenge, bless, and strengthen you.
