Publisher Marketing: Set in Chicago, Detective Richard Warren received sobering and disturbing news one January day in 2011; that he was diagnosed with cancer and has only six months to live. Immediately afterward he went to a crime scene at the apartment of Tina Jones, a woman recently divorced who had been shot twice in the back, found face down, naked. This takes place juxtaposed with the killer himself tracking his next victims and trying to come to terms with his sense of right and wrong in the face of God.
