Redeemed to the Utmost

"Redeemed to the Utmost" is a simple, logical, philosophical book that addresses two important topics of Evil and Security of Salvation in a unique way. Even though there are several books on these topics, not many are written by a layperson. It would not come as a surprise to know that many "thinking" laypersons have in their own way wrestled with such hard issues. The book contains the insights and thoughts of a layperson who took a long and arduous journey to find the answers to difficult questions using the Word of God as the foundation. To say that many difficult questions have been answered in a fresh and unique way is not an overstatement. Hopefully this book will usher in a fresh debate and lead many Christians to return to the Reformation roots and make "Salvation by Grace alone" as the victory cry once again. Sijil Oommen was born and raised in India, in a non-Christian culture, giving him a unique perspective from which to formulate his views. He moved to the United States ten years ago and is active among the large Indian Diaspora in the country being a board member of Galilee Ministries International, a group involved in missionary work in India. In 1998, he portrayed the leading character in an hour-long documentary by CNN International about a person moving from India to an offshore software development company in Barbados. A successful software engineer, he has served large and small corporations both in U. S and abroad. Since moving to the U. S., he has worked in various capacities for several large and small software companies.
