Like an arrow

In the story "Like an arrow" the girl faces the absence that means a long trip of her father to Mexico. The narrative thread follows her emotions during that period until it finally ends and the father returns home. For the girl this absence is felt with strong intensity and her joy when at last everything is over is very great. A tender and intense book about the feelings of a girl before a long trip of her father, told completely from the perspective of the protagonist. Julio Millares won the Vargas Llosa Prize for novels and the Imaginaria Prize for children's stories. He lived in Brazil, Italy, France, Mexico and Sweden before returning to his native Argentina. He is a professor at the Faculty of Arts of the National University of Cuyo.
