The history of the Holocaust is sad and also a blot in the European consciousness. Albania was a country that hosted many Jewish families during the Second World War. This book tells the story of the warm welcome of the Jews during this war, between love, hate, sacrifice and dedication to men and to God. It traces the love story between Elijah, a Jewish girl, and Mehmet, a young Albanian Muslim.
