There are several books dealing with Biodiversity conservation. But most of the book is scattered through scientific and technical basis and useful for the science background students only. While in India according to the decision of Honorable Supreme Court, the university grants commission has decided that the student of bachelor degree has to qualify the paper of environment for the knowledge of basic concept related to protection, management and conservation. But due to pure scientific and technical terminology, some times it is difficult for Art and Commerce student to understand the concept. So this is a little attempt to write a book without using heavy scientific words, so may it help the students of any streams and people from every walk of life. This book contains 10 chapter and a number of tables of conservational aspects, which is valuable for UG & PG students of Environmental Sc , Life Sc, Natural Sc, Wildlife Sc. and Forestry. It is the hope that this book will help to students and everyone from every walk of life to understand the basic concept of biodiversity conservation, and to ensure the sustainability of our planet earth.
