Flip and Match

Teach important academic skills such as matching upper and lowercase letters, matching numerals to the correct quantity, matching the color word to the right color, etc. Kids love these hands-on flip booklets and so will you! So easy to make and so fun to use! Each booklet uses just one piece of paper, which saves on photocopies! Simply place the desired page on the copy machine, press the button and hand the copies over to your students. They color in the page, cut on the lines, put the cards together and read the resulting booklet! To begin, students flip up a letter (or number, color, etc.) on the left side and then flip through the cards on the right side until they find the one that matches! They continue until they have matched all of the pages! What a great learning center activity as well as a fantastic resource to allow parents to work with their child at home. It sure beats boring flash cards!This title allows you to teach letter matching with random letters, or focus in on similar letters such as b, d, p and q. We even include a blank booklet so that the teacher, or the students, can create even more matching booklets!Also included are lift the flap pages! Students sound out CVC words then lift the flap to check their answer with the pictured item. For math, they identify a number, then lift the flap to count the objects and verify their answer! It is like having interactive flash cards!All five short vowels are covered on their own page, as well as two pages which feature all 5 vowel sounds together. Other pages cover the numbers 1-5 and the numbers 6-10.
