Sect of the Rounded Stone

A moment of respite. A break in the storm. A glimpse into darkness.

A fragment of an ancient weapon, guarded for centuries by the sun worshipers of Terrek, is now in Caymus's possession. Somehow, he and his companions will need to not only repair it, but then put it in the hands of the person who can wield it against the invaders: the Earthwarden, missing since the invasion of the dark element began.

Meanwhile, Caymus's friend Rill, the young engineer whose brilliance once saved the city of Kepren from annihilation, has been abducted by agents of the enemy. He doesn't know what they want with him; he only knows that he has to escape.

To free his friend and to find the champion of the earth element, Caymus will need to travel far beyond the Greatstone Mountains and, somehow, gain entry into the occupied city of Caranaar, possibly the most dangerous city in the world. And he won't be able to do it without help. He'll call upon his friend Milo and the newly-reformed Circle of Trammen. He'll depend upon Aiella Istucheon, the Elector of Creveya who is slowly winning his heart. He'll need to rely upon the wisdom of the underground-dwelling giants of Otvia.

Lastly, he'll somehow have to locate what remains of one of the most feared cults in all of Tebria...and hope that they'll be willing to help him: the Sect of the Rounded Stone.
