The Sons of Apollyon

In the summer heat of 2087, Erik Lyons, gifted psychic and accomplished martial artist, experiences a life-changing event when he is selected by an advanced alien species to be the only telepathic human. But the gift quickly shifts to a living nightmare after discovering he has been deceived and becomes an ensnared pawn in a bloody galaxy-wide war between the peaceful Council of Planets and the Darhan Alliance led by the Ieroga, their most terrifying and brutal carnivorous member. The confrontation becomes the least of his fears when Erik realizes that his actions or non-actions may not only bring about the total extinction of humans, but the very existence of every life form in the galaxy. He must make the decision to quickly evolve himself into a unique person from his sensitive and ethical persona into a savage calculating killer. His ESP developed into STE (Selective Telepathic Espionage) for him to have just the slimmest chance of keeping our Milky Way from being transformed back to primordial soup. To do this he will need to become one with his deeper inner self and is more than astonished at what that actually means to him as a transformed human.
