Contemplating Nature

Some of my greatest friends and mentors (in my heart) have been both living and deadwriters from around the world: poets, naturalists, artists, scientists, and philosophers. Their words speak deeply to me--a beacon in the dark--and I am eternally grateful fortheir insight, wisdom and fortitude. Out of gratitude, I have paired brief passages oftheirs with haiku poetry as well as vivid images from Nature evoked by their penetratingobservations and revelations.
