American cult classic based on the true story of multiple murderers Martha Beck (Shirley Stoler) and Raymond Fernandez (Tony Lo Bianco). Raymond makes a living conning lonely women out of their savings. Martha, originally one of his targets, eventually becomes his partner and, acting as his sister, accompanies him on a marriage-and-murder spree.
